Aulani Disney Resort - perfect family vacation
Aloha,
The sun is out, the days are getting longer and March Break is just around the corner. In 2 days my family and I will be getting on a plane and heading to Hawaii!!! I'm so excited I can't sit still as I write this. Since we are Disney Vacation Club Members, (DVC) we are staying at the Aulani Disney Resort -- voted #1 in Travel + Leisure's World's Best Awards 2014 for Top Family Hotel in the U.S.A, Aulani celebrates Hawaiian culture, history and traditions.
Below are some images that I got from the Aulani Resort website just to give you a sneak peek to what we will be experiencing for the next 8 days!
The resort looks magnificent! Aulani is located in beautiful, relaxing Ko Olina, nestled between lush green mountains and the deep blue sea. This breathtaking beachfront escape is a peaceful, tranquil oasis -- far enough from all the crowds, but close enough to enjoy all the wonders of O'ahu.
One of those rooms is a Deluxe Studio with an ocean view waiting for the Da Costa-Seaton family!
Can't wait to sit by the pool and go snorkeling with the girls at Rainbow Reef - the only private snorkeling lagoon on O'ahu.
And then of course, there is the beach and that beautiful blue ocean. Who knows.....maybe I'll even try a surfing lesson!
Looking forward to trying some authentic Hawaiian island cooking at the resort restaurants - specifically 'AMA'AMA and Makahiki.
And then of course there is the night-time entertainment. Excited to get a lesson in how to hula dance.
I am going to try to blog while I am in Hawaii with my Ipad -- all pictures will be taken from my Iphone -- so you can experience my vacation real time....if the post looks a little wonky or the images aren't centered it's because I am posting from the WordPress app.
I hope you and your families are also doing something fun for march break. If not, then please visit here to see some of my Aulani blog posts. I will be posting all my vacation pictures as they happen to Instagram so if you don' follow me....then click here.
Maholo (that means thank you) and see you soon!!
