Lee Ann’s Kitchen Reno: Part 3 – The Materials
Well, things are moving at a rapid pace with Lee Ann’s kitchen reno…so I need to get you up to date STAT!! If you missed parts One & Two, then you can catch up here and here.
Let’s recap our list of requirements for Lee Ann’s kitchen reno:
A kitchen reno can be quite stressful, especially if you don’t know the look or the feeling you want to convey with your new kitchen. Thankfully, after meeting with my client Lee Ann, I understood that she wanted a kitchen that was modern but classic. She didn’t want a kitchen that would go out of style in 5 years SINCE her budget was tight. So we needed to make it look amazing on a tight budget!!
So let me take you through the materials we chose to make the kitchen she desired a reality!
We decided to go with a grey, black and white colour palette for her kitchen, The cabinets are clean and classic in a shaker style as the picture above shows. The cabinets will be painted in Benjamin Moore’s Grey Mist CC-80 colour. It’s a beautiful off-white that will pick up all the grey in the flooring, backsplash and countertop without being so obvious. The last thing we wanted was for people to say in 10 years “Oh yea, I remember, 2011 was the year of grey kitchens”
Thanks Connie….and can you believe that it is actually granite!!
Good find with the marble!
